Volunteer Questions, Answered
No. Most of what we need is people willing to show up — setting up events, handing out food and supplies, greeting neighbors, helping with youth programs.
As much or as little as you have. Some volunteers give a couple hours at one event. Others help regularly. Both matter.
Food drives, backpack giveaways, Park District and youth programming, Chamber events, and community gatherings throughout Maywood and Proviso Township.
Yes. Churches, block clubs, students, coworkers, and family — groups are welcome and often the easiest way to get started.
No. If you want to support the work in Maywood, Proviso Township, or the Triton College community, there's a place for you.
