Anthony Cook is a third generation Maywood resident, entrepreneur, elected public servant, and community leader. His work is rooted in a simple belief: strong communities are built when people are willing to show up, serve, and create opportunities for others. From local government and small business to youth initiatives and community partnerships, Anthony continues working to strengthen Maywood and the surrounding communities.

Anthony Cook believes leadership starts with being present. As a lifelong Maywood resident and elected Maywood Park District Commissioner, he works to strengthen the community through service, collaboration, and responsible leadership.
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY
Through his work with the Maywood Chamber of Commerce and as an entrepreneur, Anthony works to connect local businesses with resources, partnerships, education, and opportunities for growth. He believes a stronger local economy creates stronger communities.

Anthony supports stronger connections between young people, schools, businesses, and community organizations so residents can see a clear path from education and training to careers, entrepreneurship, and opportunity.
